| I think I have a favorite new restaurant- Ninja. It was definitely worth the trip downtown. But be careful when you're going to the bathroom, men dressed all in black will jump in front of you and scare the crap out of you. Sake tasting.
a little ninja magic won't hurt...
An edible bonsai tree made from bread sticks and the soil from tiramisu.
After much contemplation... I've figured out the art behind this dish. I think it represents: sunrise, daytime, and night. (please gasp in admiration)
I am a sword wielding NINJA!
On a completely unrelated topic... I woke up and from somewhere in my subconscious came this song: Lamb chops play along, where kids come to play along..... Remember Lamb Chops Play Along? What ever happened to Sheri Lewis??? I miss my childhood. |

This weekend I've spent catching up with my long lost high school friend. I'm really grateful that no matter which path we've taken, where we are, or who we've become, we're still friends. This weekend was so great. I reconnected with someone who knew the real me, the me before it all (stripping away the years, the experiences, the past..). but let's not get too sentimental about it. I just really missed her! Here are some pictures of my weekend journey back in time: take.1
take.2 (hehe!)

| I love these photos. These were taken from a balcony overlooking 14th St, Union Square.
this one's a bit blurrly, but I think it captures some of the energy of the city.
4:30am. Half awake, half asleep... nearly dreaming, yet awake.
